kingston, new hampshire fire department showed elevated concentrations of pfoa's. the town of kingston requested the department of environmental services test the well water because the town was making water from that well available to residents who needed water because of the current drought. two separate rounds of testing showed that the well contained 140 parts per trillion of pfoa as well as the presence of additional pfc's. >> the pfoa and the department are the, this wasn't an investigation that was initiated because of a sort of known contamination. d.e.s. working with the town of kingston went out and tested the well at the fire department because the town had offered it to residents that were being impacted by the drought. shelley: in the interim the department of environmental services says people in kingston can get drinking water from the town library and that water has been tested and there is no sign i'm shelley walcott, wmur news 9. jennifer: a developing story tonight, a man on trial for sexual assault was killed in a crash in gilford this afternoon
