was talking about expanding the base of people who were interested in golf, i'd be reaching out at pga and driving ranges and golf shops and sporting goods shops. it's the same philosophy. what we do is we use rifle shot precision to target our volunteer outreach in those areas where we think we'll get our best return investment. our opponents who don't have these built-in luxuries have to use a scatter shot approach where they cast a big net and they hope to reel in some supporters but they often reel in a lot of opponents as well. this is a distinct advantage that we have in our opponents that we can really target our outreach efforts in place where is we're going to get an extremely high return on that effort. as pat said in my introduction we currently are a staff of 11 folks and we're broken down into two sort of distinct but overlapping at the same time components within the division. half of the staff function much like a legislative assistant or legislative aide on capitol hill. they answer the incoming phones and emails and fax and letters we get on anything political or legis

and by bringing these key partners, the pga usga and all these key partners to bear, what we're doingnging lives, working with the va, working with dod and working with so many people to get these individuals out on the golf course to do the things that they can be inspired to do. and how great it is because mental health recovery is possible because we are able to provide this access to them. my time has been cut short today but i can tell you this much, our service members have given so much. you are here to provide that support to them. and it was interesting because i must tell you that when i was at brook army medical center, it was general peter pace, former joint chiefs who was my inspiration at a moments of time when i was so dark in that hospital room. and i'll always remember what he said to us. he said, major pulido, always remember that on that day you didn't lose your leg. on that day you sacrificed it for your country and for everyone in this nation to be free. today we are here to make sure that our service members come back. that we don't leave them behind. what will y
