phil, it's a busy week.of earnings, gdp numbers and fmo meeting thrown in. >> for a sleepy week in july, there's a ton of stuff going on. don't forget the convention. it's going to be a busy week. >> how does that impact markets? is there any direction or information that you're looking at? >> well, certainly the fed front and center. our best guess is the fed does nothing this week. they'll probably give us clues as to what their thinking is for perhaps september or december. we think december is the likely next rate cut -- rate hike from the fed. in terms of earnings, earnings have been poor but not as bad as expected. that's a trend likely to continue. gdp on friday, we think 2 1/2% is the number we're carrying. but we think that could be the high watermark for the year. gdp in the third and the fourth quarters could be closer to 2% as the strength in the dollar and the weakness in oil prices begin to filter through the economy in the second half of the year. we take a little bit out of economic growth. >

phil lebeau is following the story for us. phil, what are the details of this investigation? what happened? >> reporter: well, it's focused on the autopilot system and whether or not it failed to do its job in an accident that happened on may 7th on a highway in florida. let me set the scene for you. the tesla model "s" which was in autopilot mode was going down the highway. a perpendicular highway had a truck on it, a tractor trailer that then turned in front of the model "s." the tractor trailer turned in front. the model "s" ran into it. that's when the driver of the model "s" was killed and, again, the probe is focusing on the design and the performance of the autopilot system. basically the radar, the cameras, the sensors in the vehicle that are supposed to alert you if you need to slow down, if you're going to hit an object, if you can't lane shane because another vehicle is there. tesla released a statement saying nei autopilot nor the driver noticed the white side of the tractor trailer against the brightly lit sky so the brake was not applied. so what happens next? i

phil mudd, what do you make of that? obviously, look, we don't know who's behind this particular attack. many of the attacks we have seen in the united states have been people who grew up in the united states, who are american, who are second generation american or third generation. when donald trump talks about concerns over syrian refugees and secretary clinton says they have got to be vetted, i was on the beach in lesbos i don't know how long ago, over a year ago, where i watched probably about 300 people come onshore, there were people ripping off their passports leaving them on the shore. unless you are in contact with intelligence officials in syria where they're coming from, which they're not, or police officials, you can't really thoroughly vet somebody, can you? >> you can't get close to vetting somebody. there are some simple steps you can take. for example, biometrics. do you pick up somebody at the border in turkey whose fingerprints were found on a bomb. pretty straightforward. but there's a broader question

just to reiterate what phil said. we have had a great partnership and aligned so perfect will in terms of the just making sure we're accessing the least-served youth and young adults in our community with high-quality sports program and that is what the cup represents. it's the payoff for the youth that have been participating in our programs. and we feel like we shouldn't just have -- let's have some soccer programs for some kids in the neighborhood, let's do something awesome for them. and that culminates at our annual tournament, in union square and they have opportunity to be the center of attention and have an excellent sports experience. so we had over 125 youth out on saturday and sunday from the western edition and tenderloin, who we work with in partnership again with the parks department, through margaret hayward play grounds and tenderloin's playground and we have our young adult and adult program which i think folks have heard about our organization over the last few years, maybe more so than our youth pro
