now artist phil hennessy is chronicling hicareer in a new book. he joins us this morning.w. >> thank you very much. >> you're a trained fine artist, graduate t. rhode island school of design. how did you get involved in courtroom art? >> it's interesting that'll here for that question. the first case i ever covered, i was attending american university and someone called over from the news deck affidavit channel 5 and said we need and artist to cover a case in court, anyone willing to do it? i jumped at it figuring there would be competition. i was the only one who did. that was 27 years ago. >> did to bug get you then or did you see if it was excitement in that? >> not exactly. i was kind of put off for a by. for an artist used to having the leisure time before the easel and suddenly thrust into a courtroom where i wasn't sure an arraignment from a trial, it was a new environment for me. they were happy with the results so they called me again and i went again and eventually became second nature. >> when you look through the pictures, they are so life like. it's almost as
