our reporter phil keating joins us live he's outside of the orlando courthouse with what's left or prosecutors now. >> reporter: hi, good morning. all indications yesterday were that the prosecution has just one final witness to take the stand. and that will happen here in about an hour in downtown hold, upstairs behind me at the courthouse. the case for the prosecution moving more fast than they anticipated. and that's why we had an -- we ended early yesterday because today's final witness was not expected to be here until taos. so tomorrow after the prosecution wraps its case. defense is expected to spend about a week trying to remind this jury that all testimony so far shows that the relationship between caylee and her brother casey was nothing but a loving we lationship despite what prosecutors say -- relationship despite what the prosecutors say. the key will be the state. if she's found guilty, the ther would spend another week or so doing a miniature trial specifically about aggravating and mitigating factors as to why the state feels casey anthony deserves to be sent to florida's death

the reporter phil keating joining us live from orlando to talk about the testimony jurors are currently reporter: the testimony of this morning, this half day saturday court session in the murder trial of casey anthony, featured testimony by an entomologist, a bug expert, which indicates the body of caylee anthony very likely was in the trunk of her mother's car, casey anthony, for three or four days. dr. neil will testify on stand he found several hundred blow fly larvae and can coons, all of which were dead, in the trash bag which was found in the trunk of casey anthony's car, which was tossed into a dumpster when her parents george and cindy went to retrieve the car back in the summer of 2008. the doctor testified that he found the source to be the paper towels, and his conclusion based on the type of fly and these types of flies always -- on decomposition, whether human or animal. he concluded that the paper towels had decompensational fluid on them. now, bones were released into evidence, photographs of bones of caylee anthony, and her mother broke down on the stand several -- on t

phil keating is watching all this play out for us, he's live in our miami bureau with more on this. phil. >> reporter: we are at a major transition point as far as the strategy of prosecutors. after two weeks of highly charged emotional tear-drenching testimony, we are now in the second straight day of highly technical forensic science and evidence. and this jury is going right along with it. they are taking a lot of notes. right at 1:30 this afternoon after the lunch break ends we expect to return to the stand a sheriff's department cadaver dog handler whose dog scented human death in casey anthony's trunk about three years ago. the prosecutors are taking the jury through everything that was found in the trunk. an empty aluminum foil box, an empty pizza box and various other things. cindy anthony said there was a rotting pizza in the trunk that's what made it smell like death, no pizza. a forensic scientist testified as to what he found on the carpet sample from casey anthony's trunk. >> what was the result of your examination of that island? >> that residues of chloroform were iden
