overhead there is sort of a tense call on the streets here of west philadelphia this evening after we saw very. some scenes of looting. and some scenes of very strong protests last night here but this is clearly a city that is on edge because a lot of people are quite frankly. upset and they want justice and they feel that many here at this protest that we've been talking to since we arrived here all say the that they feel that in his killing was certainly unjustified we did hear from the police department a lot more questions than answers still they have not released the identity of the 2 officers that were involved and also there's no indication from the police on why they felt they had to use lethal force when mr wallace was several meters away from the officers and allegedly holding a knife when his parents his mother called police saying that he was had mental troubles and was calling for some sort of intervention but said that his mother said that he was under no threat to anybody philadelphia's already had suffered a summer of protests and violence many of them linked to claims
