we just talked with captain george fukes of the philadelphia police department. i'll move out of the way. this investigation continues on frankford avenue, the 6600 block. police just said that the initial stop for this white charger that's parked out here, the suspect's vehicle, was due to a traffic violation, although they won't say what the traffic violation was or if this could have possibly been part of another investigation into a crime, an alleged crime. but they say the initial stop was for a traffic violation and that the suspect had a gun inside the car. as a matter of fact, they say there is a gun in between the center console and the passenger's seat. you can see the butt end of the gun sticking up, still inside the vehicle right now. two officers responded, both in uniform. these are two rookie cops. that's how they're described. and we talked earlier about how this district received an influx of about 30 officers during this past year to help with response times to crime. i'm also told that the suspect is a 26-year-old man. he has a criminal history

he was shot and killed by philadelphia police nearly two weeks ago. a march for brown is planned for tuesday. >>> this morning we now know what caused the death of a 93-year-old woman who was almost hit by a truck that plowed right into her buck's county home. the driver sped off after crashing into the house on red brook lane on friday. an autopsy now reveals that the 93-year-old woman jenny rousseau died of natural causes. it was just a few hours after the truck nearly struck rousseau while she was sleeping in her bed. her family says although she was not physically injured in that accident, she was disturbed and shaken up by it. the 20-year-old accused driver is not in custody right now. the district attorney in buck's county is still deciding what charges to file. >>> two months after shutting down its high school, an emball embattled philadelphia charter school announced it's closing. walter palmer charter school will shut down on december 31st. walter palmer points to financial difficulties. the chartder owes over a million dollars to the philad
