this is philadelphia skyline. still the low clouds around. we're going to see record 70s for some. may take until tomorrow in -- from philadelphia northward. much colder on thursday. way colder. and then very wet. thursday, friday, saturday, sunday. here is a close-up of those low clouds. you can see through the philadelphia i-95 corridor. you don't see them in delaware or south jersey. we have some breaks in the clouds, north and west. you can almost see exactly where the line is between the rain and snow. rain and snow? the clouds and the sunshine. this just tends to erode during the afternoon. but it's taking its good old time. all of the big moisture's still way to the west and that's headed right up into canada. so that's not the issue. the issue is just the low clouds and fog. temperatures in the 50s. despite a southwest wind and where it's calm and snow on the ground, not getting anywhere near the 70s. struggling out of the 50s today. a huge contrast from north to south. and in delaware, there's going to be contrast across the state. it's 54 in greenville, limestone road. and

westbound at the center city skyline there's no clouds whatsoever, so they are quickly pushing from the north to the south. right now 51 degrees the air temperature in philadelphia below the air temperature, 27 so that indicates dry air. which those two numbers are farther apart the drier the air that is in place. and that's the case now. winds out of the west-northwest at 9 miles per hour. pressure 30.19. everyone basically in the lower 50's here from northwest, to i-95, couple of upper 40's for millville as well as the extreme shore communities, but the atlantic city airport, dover, both coming in right around that 50-degree mark. as we look at satellite and radar, there you could see the clouds that were hanging tough all day long and it's now just before sunset that we're starting to see those clouds push quickly to the south here as they erode south jersey, southern delaware, the clouds probably will not be out in time for any sort of twilight so you'll have to wait until tomorrow but you'll get that full sun like we are seeing right now in pennsylvania. tonight turning clear, not too chilly as well. 29 in the suburbs, 34 degrees for center city. northwest
