future tracker showing 12:30 we have rain/snow line around i-95 wilmington, east of philadelphia trentonnotice what happens as we head into the wee hours of the morning. it lifts north and west of i-95 corridor. it's all rain 4:00 in philadelphia and nearby suburbs by 8:00 in the morning this rain snow line will reach through the lehigh valley. still snowing in the poconos. as we head through the day we'll see periods of generally light precipitation. rain around lunchtime and colder air filters in behind this system and we'll see a brief chink-over to snow. by then temperatures will be above freezing. so i really do not expect that to drop any additional accumulation. expected snow first new jersey, central and southern delaware. this is rain event for you. you will not get any snow accumulation. i-95 corridor from wilmington, philadelphia trenton looking at slushy coating to 2" perhaps before the rain 1234e9s in. that rain will be melting a lot of that snow. and the further you are from the ocean the far northwest suburbs we'll see the most snow. 2 to had 4". this is my main concern. 4

the i-95 corridor, this includes philadelphia, trenton, mount holly media salem and wilmington we're looking at a brief snow event tonight into about 2 o'clock in the morning by about 4 o'clock, this is all rain and we're looking at about a half inch to an inch of rain so that rain will be washing away a lot of the snow. and as i said, south jersey and delaware a few snowflakes at the onset but generally this is a soaking rain. could get more than an inch of rain. i think the most of the problems tomorrow as far as traveling will be the possibility of freezing rain. we found out last sunday just how dangerous freezing rain will be and we're looking at the potential for up to a quarter inch of icing from easton quakertown, downingtown reading and lancaster tomorrow morning between about 6 o'clock and 8 o'clock in the morning. i'll talk the specifics of totals. adam, will too coming up in the full accuweather forecast. shirleen. >> thank you cecily. >>> crews have already started treating the roads ahead of tonight's storm and we found people buying shovels and salt just to make sure t

close to single digits in philadelphia and trenton. into the single digits when you get up in the morning. so that is very cold. when you see a seven-day forecast, this is going to seem warm in comparison. here we go into wednesday. even at 1:00 it's feeling really cold. the snowfall amounts, some of them -- 7 inches in pennington, new jersey. 5 inches at washington's cross. the big storm continues to clobber new england. it tracked a little to the east a little faster, developed a little slower. those little difference make a big difference in how much snow fell around here. you can see there's no snow left on the radar right now. we do expect some snow with a weak system coming in. this is on thursday. this is into the evening. looks like it moves through fairly fast. then we get pounded with some arctic air after that comes through.

as we look at the temperatures, it is plenty cold. 27 in philadelphia, 19 allentown, 24 in trenton. at northeasterly wind at speeds of 17 in allentown, 22 in philadelphia, 20 at the airport in atlantic city, that truly drops the wind chill. in fact, feels like seven in allentown, 13 in philadelphia, 18 in millville and right now the wind chills at the shore only 20 to 25 degrees. as we look at satellite and radar, what makes this forecast so complicated is that we're not tracking a storm that's already developed with all the moisture pulling up from the south. we're waiting for this storm to blossom and most of the time when they blossom to our east it is too late for us to get a lot of snow out of the storm. that is why new england will take the brunt of it 'cause it's a little too late for us but as it develops and deepens overnight east of atlantic city it should throw some of that moisture back in off of the ocean by 11 o'clock tonight overspreading philadelphia late tonight early tomorrow morning. how far west, that's the question. there will be a sharp cutoff of where it's snow
