so north of philly we don't see anything, south of philly we see a few flakes for a couple of hours. the main issue is that by 6:30 in the morning, it's going to feel like single digits in much of the area and then get colder throughout the day. however cold you feel in the morning, it will be colder when you go home from work later in the day. two in pottstown. there's 6:30, low single digits everywhere. and now we're talking about close to zero. we saw a zero there in the middle of the night. allentown, 0 by 7:30 friday morning, by friday afternoon, things are getting a little bit more tolerable. but that's when the snow starts approaching. so saturday, early morning, you're going to have to sleep late enough, you might miss this, snow from philadelphia suburbs and lehigh. snow to a brief icy mix into rain, later in the morning, saturday afternoon it's just raining and it's mild, sunday morning, it's raining and it's mild, so again, so the majority of the weekend, you're not going to be getting this snow, here it comes, middle of the night, coming into philadelphia, parts of south

hi everybody and wi philly. we are at the strawberry mansion and it is all decked out for the holiday season. this is part of the historic houses tour and they are all decorated for christmas in fairmount park. hopefully by now, you've got the bulk of your christmas shopping done and you can relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season. and there are so many things to help spark that holiday spirit. at franklin square, there's the spectacular electrical spectacle.

very tough day here, a very difficult week here in south philly. that's because it seems everyone around here new marie buck. well, she was laid to rest today. the funeral held at the church where she went every sunday. where she volunteered, where she cooked for them and where she sang in the church choir. heavy, heavy hearts prevail. on this sad day in december in south philly, the community saying goodbye to one of its own. at a church which has provided a place of solace and worship for italian immigrants since the mid 19th century. >> i pray for the family and she's looking down on them. >> you hear stories about somebody being so great. she was. she was a good person. >> reporter: 81-year-old marie buck eulogized this morning as those who filled the sanctuary quietly weeped. aunt marie to everyone, she was beloved corner grocer for 44 years. buck was killed saturday as she stood in her store a crime that gripped the neighborhood and city. >> you just have to grieve. it's going a take a long time. it's going to take a very long time. >> report
