they a this is 48-year-old phillip creekcoyian. two weeks ago, a device was detonated in the an alley. a witness helped police track down the suspect's vehicle and they served a search warrant on his home and they said they found bomb-making materials and several explosives ready to use inside. their apartment unit with a bleeding man behind the wheel of the car. it happened around 27th avenue and camelback road. courtney griffin has more. >> reporter: phoenix police say just before 2:00 this morning, a man was shot at multiple times. he ended up losing control of his vehicle and driving right into the apartment unit where three people were asleep inside. the three people are ok but the driver was pronounced dead on scene. >> i w sleep. boom, boom, boom, pow. everything went hell from there. >> reporter: he was inside the unit when a car came crashing through. he says thankflly, he and his two roommates were not in the living room. >> i did not think. just reacted when i heard the crash, i had got on my feet and i saw the car and t
