we were watching phm, kbh, which are expected to report on thursday. maria, back to you. >> thank you so much. >>> stay with us as we break down the market here on the "closing bell exchange." josh, mark, keith fitzgerald, and our own rick santelli. good to see everybody. thank you for joining us. what do you think? are you getting whiplash after the markets? what do you want to do with a market up in the triple digits? >> we knew volatility was coming eventually. we saw commodities break down. that led into the bond market. what we were watching in the bond market was watching the yield on the 10 year and seeing if it would break through 2%, and then break through maybe 2.5%, which it did like it was cutting through soft butter. you know, we've actually seen now the stock market, following the bond market really for the first time. we're starting to see these things that have always been indicators do the right thing. but really, the interconnectedness of the global marketplace that's really been led by the central banks and their credit delivery. so

phm, hov, spf, kbh, which reports on thursday, and lennar, specifically, i thought the ceo's commentary from lennar very positive, very upbeat. saying the next phase of the housing recovery continuing to show strength. finally, maria, let's end on bond funds, specifically the agg, down for six straight sessions, but it breaks the streak today, just edging into the green. back to you. >> thank you so much, josh. >>> the markets pushing back today against the recent sell-off. the breakdown today with the panel of experts now. joining me is rick santelli, mark, mike and todd. good to see you guys. thank you for joining us. todd, in terms of researching the earnings period in the second half of the year, what are you expecting? >> well, maria, it seems, you know, once again, we're seeing earnings -- earnings' expectations come down as we progress through the quarter. that is something that we have seen throughout the last several quarters, to be honest. and i think if you're a bull, you like to see that. you like to see that combination of lowered expectations against actual earnings, again
