phoenix yesterday was only at 89 degrees. scottsdale was 87 degrees. what thanks that interesting is that it does not happen very often. phoenix, the fourth day in a row where the high tells were below 90 degrees during september. that has only happened three other times in the past 50 years. 1996, 1982 and 1976. so you are thinking they are baking but they are not. they are cooler than us. bodega bay water temps are now 56. cool for some. temps in the 50s and 60s as well for them. look at bodega bay. 73. kelseyville, 53. one observation, san raphael, 67. most temperatures are running- - most, i say, 1 to 5 degrees warmer than yesterday except oakland airport is minus one. still, we are warmer. look for that easterly breeze or northerly breeze to continue for one more day and then it will turn more westerly. the fog comes back from this system, the start of what looks to be a significant pattern change as we head into the weekend. 70s, 80s, a few low 90s. that dome of high pressure is moving, heading east. we'll cool down and carry it into the weekend.
