phoenix metro area severe thunderstorms. all the way up to denverall because of this guy. we did not see much rainfall from it toward cloverdale yesterday and that low is now beginning to move out. mountain thunderstorms likely over the weekend saturday and sunday. but for us we'll stay dry and then when the low moves out high pressure moves in but if high pressure was off to the west we would still have the ocean influence. with high pressure building to the north this is when we get hot. the wind wraps around high pressure and gives us an east wind. that means it's coming from land, hot california as opposed to the chilly ocean and we are going to get toasty especially away from the water where you may have five or six straight days with highs in the 90s. that begins on sunday and monday. low clouds are back here in the water tonight. there will be some drizzle. sun/cloud mix over the weekend should be pleasant to get outside but next week, we are getting toasty. the hottest weather since on the for many of you. concord tomorrow 77. right in that
