west coast. but where the real action has been has been across the deserts of southern california out towards phoenixwe've been seeing some of this moisture which has been kind of streaming off and away from tropical storm dora, causing pretty wild weather by palm springs and phoenix. more dust storms in the last couple hours, and very heavy rains. most of the moisture from the storms have been staying well off to the south and east. but as we get through the next seven days we may start to see some of that drift a little closer to the bay area, and we'll explain why here coming up. in the meantime for monday and tuesday, we're actually going to see temperatures cooling somewhat, thanks to the strong sea breeze. right around wednesday as high pressure starts to build in from the desert southwest, that's going to lead our inland valleys into the 80s and 90s. meantime, the coast will continue to stay cool. the marine layer is going to get squished down west of the golden gate bridge and the seashore. a midweek warm-up thursday and friday. probably some of the warmest days for the bay area this week. as
