michaela pereira interviewed piaget. what did she say, michaela? >> i think what struck me the most is that she woke up that day, a regular day, she was supposed to go to work, her boss was coming to pick her up. they were late, though. if they had been on time, she would not have born witness to what happened to michael brown, a boy her age. take a look at what piaget had to say to me earlier on "new day." >> and so what we're looking at is officer darren wilson to the right. he's just looking over the body, just looking baffled and bewildered, like trying to explain to the officer what had i just done. and then we get this picture of him pacing, back and forth, just, like, in disbelief. so, like, it is like he -- it is like he understands that he just shot this boy in the face and that this boy was unarmed. and, to me, this video seems relative for this time period. especially including the fact that chief jackson said that the reason that this video wasn't even on the media at the time when it should have been was because he wanted to get all th

so piaget crenshaw says brown was running away and wilson continued shooting. other witnesses tell a different story. >> yes, and this is always the case when you have so many witnesses. being a prosecutor in a homicide case, the first thing i hope is you got some witnesses and all of a sudden you have too many witnesses and they're contradicting each other because they look at it from different angles and the other thing you have to worry about, are they influenced by what they're hearing on the news media or from their friends or in the community? you have all of these problems. now, we could just look at a few of these witnesses. michael brady was interviewed last night by anderson cooper. i don't know if you saw the interview, carol. i thought it was a compelling interview. he's older than a lot of the other witnesses, and sounds like a serious guy. i'm watching and i'm saying boy, this guy is a really good witness and he basically is very bad for the cop, because he's got the cop being shot, you know, while -- he has the cop shooting at an inopportune time

this video was provided to c-n- n by piaget crenshaw. she says brown was running away from officer darren wilson, when he turned around. she says that's when wilson shot him multiple times. but c-n-n reports a friend of wilson's called a local radio station with wilson's account of what happened. the caller said that brown punched the officer in the face and went for his gun. she says brown ran when the gun went off. she says when officer wilson yelled at brown to freeze, brown turned, taunted the officer, then started running toward him. >> he said all of a sudden he started coming at him at full speed so he started shooting and he just kept coming at him. >>brown was shot six times. the caller says the final shot was to brown's forehead. a source tells c-n-n the caller's version matches what officer wilson told investigators. protesters gathered on daley plaza for the second time since the shooting. the "stop mass incarceration network" called for and to police brutality, and for justice for michael brown's family. marchers carried a b

. >> that was eyewitness piaget crenshaw, speaking on cnn this morning, explaining why they decided toe a video as michael brown lay mortally wounded in the street. i want to bring in rem reverend herring. earlier we heard from the national president of the black lawyers for justice. he called for a five-day stop on all public protests after dark. in your opinion, though, will this community heed this request? or are emotions too high that people feel compelled to company out again tonight? >> i thing emotions are extraordinarily high. the sentiment on the street, as we understand it, as we've been working with young people for the last few days, people are still determined to seek justice. when we talk to young people today, many of them were indicating they were waiting for a righteous investigation and an indictment of the officer and they are insistent about that. i think what weem seen ov've see last few days are young people, adults, even elderly persons using their constitutional rights to push for a righteous intervention by law enforcement in this case. and i think that the pr

you might remember i spoke to piaget crenshaw. >> you believe you saw you're convinced you saw the officer shooting michael brown when michael brown was facing away from the officer. >> yes, sir. and then that is when he turned around with his arms up and got shot down multiple more times. >> you say his arms were up. there's an account from this woman who called into the radio show who claims that the officer is saying michael brown was rushing the police officer. is that what you saw? >> no. at no time did i see him move toward that police officer. he may have taken one centimeter of a step forward before he was gunned down. >> that young woman is the woman who took the disturbing video that shows brown's body lying there in the street. i want to turn to my colleague don lemon who has been on the ground in ferguson. the sun comes up, morallies more protes protests. can you recap for us what went on last night and what you found yourself in the center of? >> it's crazy. listen, we have been -- you have been on your show for five minutes now and that entire five minutes that you've on the

piaget crenshaw who shot the aftermath also says brown was running away while the officer continued firing at him. but a friend of officer wilson who calls herself josie says michael brown shoved the officer back into the car and grabbed for his gun and officer wilson shoved brown away and shot him in self-defense. now that we've heard the differing accounts of that day, cnn's chris cuomo spoke with the attorney for dorian johnson. he's the teenager, like i said, who was with michael brown the day he was shot. and in the days after the shooting he was not shy in telling his part of the story. >> the way he describes it is the officer says get out of the street. >> yes. >> they do not get out of the street. >> no, they do not not. >> he says something to the officer, the officer takes some kind of disrespect. >> yes. >> backs up. >> yes. >> when he backs up your client says that opens the door into them. >> he says, what are you saying? he attempts to try to get out of the car. >> what happens when he tries to get out the car. >> he's so close to him with the vehicle, he can't get the door

. >> remember that young lady, piaget crenshaw is just 19 years old. she had just moved out on her own. she had been living on her own for a month. she was, supposed to go to work that morning. they are running late. if they would have been on time, they wouldn't have been there to watch all of this to play out and she wouldn't have recorded that incident on her cell phone. she's really torn up about the incident. afterwards, i had an opportunity to talk to her off camera, she said she felt there was a really big storm cloud over her community of ferguson and she hoped that that would move on and that calm would be restored and that there would be justice for michael brown. cnn has also reached out to ferguson police for comment. so far, we have not received any comment thus far. we're going to take a short break here. we know the autopsy is revealing some new details about michael brun's death. what about the officer who fired those shots? how will this or will it explain his actions? we'll take a look at that ahead. we do? i took the trash out. i kno
