on the pike. the reason the road work was delayed was because the water main break repair this morning was also delayed in bethesda. crews are charging the line. there is still a big hole. that means they are running water through the new pipe making sure there are no more leaks because as crews excavated this morning, they replaced the pipe with these big cast-iron sleeves. they were not holding. they had to bring in bigger sleeves. now that that work is done they are starting to repair buckled rockville pike that was under water for much of the day. people just got their water back on. you can see the other side of rockville pike right in front of nih and walter reed. even though folks have water back on we're not out of the woods as far as traffic goes. only one lane in each direction getting by and officials telling me that will be the case through the evening rush hour. you definitely want to avoid this area the rest of the day. we cover a lot of these water main breaks and if i do guess i wo
