commissioner pimentel: present. commissioner mirkarimi: item number two. >> presentation of minutes. seeing none, any public comment? public comment is closed. without approval, some moved. -- so moved. >> an update of the process. commissioner mirkarimi: mr. campbell, welcome. >> before i get into the next steps, i wanted to highlight those that were not aware that last tuesday, there was a hearing on issues related to cca. nancy miller was there as well as commissioner mirkarimi. the committee was interested in what legislation might be helpful to promote cca in california. the issues raised were related to some of the challenges you have all heard here, like putting some real teeth into the laws that would -- the law says that pg&e should fully cooperate with cca. there should be some legislative changes to really compel them to cooperate, and what that would mean. we talked about some of the existing rules about benefit fees and the application for energy efficiency. participating customers are creating a subsid

commissioner pimentel: i have two questions for the customers that have opted out. are they bound to the three-year rule? are they let back into the program since pg any made a mistake? what will be done to make sure the situation does not incur moving forward? >> currently, all customers who opt out are bound by the rule. it does not matter if they opted out under false pretenses. what will be done to address that issue? we are hopeful that the legislative reporting requirement will help bring that to light. we are considering bringing this issue to be cpuc on a separate document to address it on its own. as mike campbell i outlined, there are many issues happening there right now. we have limited resources. that is one we are eager to bring to the cpuc as soon as resources allow. that might be within the next few months. i understand there has been discussion at the energy committee of around cca cleanup legislation. that is one issue that might be inappropriate place to address it. one other thing i want to mention that i should have brought up earlier, i think a
