in sanford, florida, randall pinkston, wjz eyewitness news. >> he's agreed not to contact the martin family. >>> new about the 21 year old murder case just cracked in howard county. people who knew the missing woman and her accused husband say there was reason to suspect him all along. monique griego? >> reporter: he killed his wife kristine, but without a body there wasn't much they or police could do about it. a howard county home with a disturbing secret hidden under a shed for 21 years and it would take help his second wife to help the mystery of his first wife, missing since 1991. >> she was fun, vivacious, full of life. >> reporter: not long after christine disappeared, saw concrete pouring in the shed but never had enough evidence to get a search warrant and while the case went cold, neighbor's suspicions never did. one determined detective never gave up and found out jared separated from the second wife and moved out of the house, detectives moved in and asked to search the shed. there, they found christine's remains under floor boards. they were 5 and 11 at the time and thou
