four pinocchios are the most they give for a statement that just turns out not to be correct. nbc news reported last week that 50% to 75% of at least 14 million consumers who buy their insurance individually can expect to receive a cancellation notice. the administration comes up with something like this only affects something like 5% of the people in the country. if it affects your family it affects 100% of the people in your house. if 5% of the people in the country are 14 million people and whoever is insured under their policy, we shouldn't act like that's no consequence at all. it's no surprise. they had plenty of time to prepare. the springfield news leader, my hometown paper, recently reported on becky st*upack, who is 63. she suffers from blood clots and had insurance through the missouri high-risk pool. one of the things that republicans wanted to do, conservatives wanted to do when this bill was passed was figure out a way to expand these high-risk pools. the idea that there were no other ideas out there is just wrong. the missouri high-risk pool, like all the others

in fact, "the washington post" fact checker gave that president's pledge a three pinocchio score for not being true. yet another promise proven to be false is the president's pledge to the american people if you like your doctor and your health care plan, you can keep it. again, "the washington post" reviewed this pledge but this time it gave the president four pinocchios saying the president's promise apparently came with a very large caveat. if you like your health care plan you'll be able to keep your health care plan if we deem it adequate. i recently received a letter from nancy from eagle, idaho about the loss of her husband's employer provided health care coverage. the cancellation reads that due to the affordable care act and unprecedented increases in health care costs, effective january 1, 2014, traditional medical insurance will no longer be available. instead, his employer will offer two preventive health care plans and preferred him to the exchange to purchase his insurance. after browsing the exchange weapon site nancy and her husband realize they'll pay $500 more a mon

now, they gave them three pinocchios out of four the "the washington post" did.ce again, the analysis by a liberal newspaper, the obama administration is not telling the truth. so what, exactly is the truth? here it is. if you are a health insurance company, you are now required to offer a bunch of services that may not be good for business. such as, maternity and newborn care to 90-year-olds. and mental health and substance abuse coverage for everybody. so, some companies are simply canceling the policies because they can't make money on them or because the policies themselves don't comply with the new mandates from the feds. so they have to cancel. president obama knew that would happen and he actually wants it to happen. because it forces americans into the obamacare exchanges to get new policies, many of which are more expensive. remember, remember. the goal of president obama and the democratic party is for the government to control the entire healthcare industry. that's called the single pair system. if -- single payer system. if private insurance companies

"the washington post" fact checker even gave the president four pinocchios for his of oft-repeated pledge that if you like your health care plan, you can keep your plan. we're now learning that only in the white house likes your plan, you'll be able to keep yew plan. after obamacare was signed into law, the president's administration released regulations. this information was buried in 2010 regulations. and despite the fact that the administration had posted this regulation, the president continued to state, if you like your health care plan, you'll be able to keep your health care plan. at the time this regulation was released, the administration issued a statement saying that 40% to 67% of americans poo liked their insurance would lose their coverage. the administration also state in that regulation that by the year 2013, 39% to 69% of businesses large and small would lose their grandfathered plans. what the president blatantly left out of his promise was the caveat that if the federal government approves of your health care plan, then you can keep it. not if you like it, you can keep i

they got three pinocchios for that whopper. unfortunately that doesn't seem to have deterred our friends on the other side from indulging in the blame game. within just the past week we've seen the white house lash out at the words of a cancer survivor and try to point a finger of blame at texans. and a few days ago -- get this one -- one of the president's closest political allies attacked the very kind of folks who are now losing their health coverage under obamacare. free riders he called them. free riders. you know the folks he's talking about. these aren't people who have done anything wrong. they're not freeloaders or free riders or anything else. they're our neighbors, our constituents, and they're not looking for handouts from the government. in fact, these are folks who went out and spent their own hard-earned money -- not taxpayer money -- to purchase the kind of health and protection that best suits their families. and for this the president's allies attacked him? many just want the government to leave them alone. ma

the top fact checkers in the country have used terms like "pants on fire" and "false" and "four pinocchios" to describe the claim that under obamacare folks would be able to keep their plans. in a matter of weeks, it's gone from being one of the law's top selling points to a national punchline. and if millions of people weren't so frustrated and upset by it, it might actually be funny. but it's not the least bit funny. at this stages, about 50,000 folks are believed to have signed up for insurance on the federal exchange, way, way below administration estimates. that's 50,000 who've signed up for insurance on the exchange, while 3.5 million americans have lost their health care coverage. in other words, about twice as many folks have lost their insurance in the state of idaho alone since october 1 as have obtained health insurance across the entire federal exchange, all across america. so this is a real crisis. in my home state of kentucky, over a quarter of a million people have lost their private health care plans so far, and only about 7,000 kentuckians have been able to obtain new, pri
