it happened in min pinole and now there is a -- it happened in pinole and now there is a police investigationidge is live at the scene with what firefighters found out once they put the fire out. alex? >> reporter: good morning, dave. yes, we're learning more about the scope of this marijuana- growing operation. we just spoke with an investigator from the pinole police department and he said what they found was 300 marijuana plants. investigators say they found several rooms inside, all of them filled with marijuana plants and growing equipment, lights and all of the other equipment needed to grow. this was all discovered just after 4:00 this morning when a fire broke out in this house. it wasn't a huge fire. firefighters knocked down the flames and that's when they discovered marijuana plants inside that house and they saw the growing equipment. obviously, at that point, police were called in. as far as if the cause, fire investigators looked into that. they do believe the cause of the fire was electrical. this started in the floor and it did start with the -- with the wiring system here and
