we had this in plant city and this from this picture, unbelievable from our buddy james, rocky point looking east and the lightning just east of downtown tampa. and the lightning season coming up, and the other way you turn around and look to the west, this is the view from south ta. and summers are amazing with the whacky weather events. the perseid meteor shower about the best it's been in many years. just a perfect setup. 160 to 200 per hour at peak and you may not see quite that many, but that is two a minute. look generally high in the sky for the northeast. the best viewing will be well after midnight and you have to skies to clear. just find an unobstructed view to the sky, and even in the city, if you can see the sky, the meteors should be bright enough to see and so check it out. some of the rain is that causing floods and will continue to do so for the next several days. the sea breeze boundary just sat along the west coast and around very slowly to the west. the storms will late to get going and heavy rain in southeastern hills grow, and then light rain around tampa bay. i
