pleasanton and livermore for highs in the mid 70s. storm system for wednesday, it looks like the rain chances will be increasing right around the time of the wednesday commute. you'll see the clouds thickening up. right around 8:00 on wednesday, you see the showers going across the north bay. by 5:00, still a few showers. then thing begins to shut down by 11:00. thursday and friday skies are going to start to clear again. even for the system sitting on most of us for wednesday we're going to see the chance of showers heaviest up in the north bay. for fran over to oakland. and you can see the higher totals on the coastal hilltops. with the temperatures in the mid 60s, the sierra impact doesn't look good. we're talking snow levels around 6500 feet. you might see three to five inches of snow. but mostly rain below that. it's not likely we'll have chain controls up in the sierra with this particular system. the one system we'll see for the rest of the week. wednesday we got the showers and high pressure build in. look at the temperatures
