i spoke with some customers and employees here in downtown pleasanton. the general cosensus is that this was not a just verdict. they say they are disappointed in the system. they don't understand how someone with a felony, who has been deported multiple times can essentially get away with murder in their view. some people i talked to though say in the end they weren't surprised about the final verdict. they say because they got a sense it wasn't going to be what they thought it was when the jury took six days to deliberate. they figured it should have been more simple than that.. and the fact that it was taking long gave them a sense that zarate would get off with less than they think he deserves. let's take a listen.so we were in a class and one of the girls had it on her phone from one of the websites and we were passing around the phone and everybody kind of shook their head and were really surprised. my remark was he must have a really great attorney. we were shocked. it was really sad. we were hoping he would get more than he did so it was disappoi
