slowing on 680 getting out of pleasanton. next time we're look at the silicon valley commute. 6:02 and back to the desk. >>> breaking news in oakland. firefighters cleaning up after a house fire started about 4:00 this morning. look at the pictures we saw. allie rasmus is at 52nd and international. what's happening. >> reporter: the fire is out and firefighters are doing their work. they've been hosing off some of the contents and tossing out the contents of the inside of the home. it's a two story duplex. no one was here at home at the time the fire broke out. but you can see the roof is heavily damaged. they had to take apart the roof and the attic to make sure that the fire was not burning up there. and the fire has burned of the the fire started around 4:20 this morning. and the home was pretty secured. there were -- coming from the second story window and they had to get through a heavily secured front door and some of the windows have bars on them as well. so it was hard to get in. no one was home when the fire started.

in the east bay you will see the warmest apertures. 93 in fairfield and livermore as well as pleasanton. they are 80 in concorde already. a mix of 60s and 70s around the bay. 69 degrees in berkeley and 66 in san francisco. sausalito is warmer at 86 degrees. these are the warmest temperatures that we will see today in the north bay. triple digits in clear lake and those temperatures will continue to climb through the week. sunset tonight will be 8:30 pm and sunrise tomorrow will be 6:01 am. we do have a warming trend looking at the five day forecast. that will continue through the week. on wednesday we will start to see changes take effect with the monsoon moisture that will move in. it is going to be really hot during the first half of the week and muggy for the second half of the week. i think, as far as hair days are concerned, because i'm sure you are worried about that, it is going to be terrible and muggy. >>> the dmv is admitting that it's lines are too long. so it is extending hours across the bay area. the dmv is blaming the looming real id card. the department it was awarded $2
