by 7:00 the poconos could feel like 8 degrees below zero. many minus 2 and 3 feels like temperatures, philadelphia could feel like zero. much of south jersey and delaware tomorrow morning feeling like zero degrees. aside from the cold out tomorrow morning, we're also talking about a storm by the end of this week. could be fairly significant. chief meteorologist glenn "hurricane" schwartz has a look at that. glenn? >> sheena, in the winter it was practically snowless, with the strong record el nino you're often getting storms, but it's not cold enough. it's cold enough now, and that combination is what is leading us to a first alert for friday and into saturday. first alert weather day for this first major winter storm. and a lot of the area is going to see a big snowstorm out of this. there are issues at the shore, likely to change to rain, but the wind is going to be awful. and there's going to be a lot of coastal flooding off the full moon coming up. this is what it looks like now, kind of dry, just some flurries in the poconos. the storm

our first chance could be up near the poconos and the lehigh valley, snow showers falling there, poconoso love that with the real snow moving in. by 6:00 p.m. you see more scattered snow showers through delaware, but notice temperatures are still above freezing by that time. then we'll see possibly more move through by 8:00, closer into new jersey, so at this time some temperatures north and west could be dropping at or below freezing, which is when we could see that sticking, but we don't expect much. then we go into wednesday and get colder with temperatures only reaching the upper 20s. here's how little snow we expect with those snow showers. the poconos will be expecting the most, maybe close to an inch, elsewhere we are looking at not much at all, so that's why we don't expect this to be a big deal, just be careful as you're driving home in the evening if you run into any of those snow showers. tonight temperatures dropping to the teens north and west, 14 for the low in allentown, 21 pottstown, mid 20s philadelphia. new jersey suburbs into the teens, delaware in the mid 20s tonight.

we have one wave moving through the poconos.dipping down into upper bucks by about 2:00 p.m. then the front comes through. the arctic front and that will set off some snow showers. this is during the evening rush between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. it moves through philadelphia k see a few snow showers here as well i don't expect him them to stick to the road if you see them in the air i know it will be shocking first time this season and then possibly a few snow showers as you head down the shore about 8:00 p.m. before that arctic front moves offshore then the skies clear very quickly and no wet issues tuesday night or wednesday morning. potential snowfall in the poconos 1.2-inches possible. around an inch and from pottstown to the north you can see a tenth, two-tenth, one-tenth is considered measurable. and heading toward an inch in the lehigh valley once again it will be an elevation storm as far as where we see the snow. so the colder areas will see the most accumulation and they'll be closer to the storm which will be in the northea
