forty-eight mount pocono. sixty-two in the city. fifty-six pottstown. sixty-two in our normal chilly spot of millville, 63 degrees in wildwood. so wind are not too bad right new but when we get that gusty storm you'll see those wind pick up and this could happen all over again, later on in the day. but as we check ultimate doppler radar and go over last five hours do you see those last thunderstorms moving through the area, mostly moving off shore. it looks like it is cloud, stormy in new york city right now as you can see very tail end of the five hour loop and those storms moving into long island. so, when we see it to the north of us, it looks like it will stay to our north in northern new jersey, this might be it for a while. be prepared for a shower or then are storm anytime today but most likely later on in the afternoon after we get to a high of 80 degrees. we will see sunshine today and that will help increase the instability in the atmosphere and that could touch off late day thunderstorms that could last in the evening 60 degrees overnight. co

the poconos starting to get rid of the rain. mount bethel seeing heavier showers, lehigh, moving to the east and bethlehem area. also some heavier showers around maiden creek, rain around reading and across 176 there in parts of berks county. if we look south around maryland, this area, this one has lightning in so it this is a pretty big cluster of thunderstorms moving in from maryland heading in the direction of the philadelphia area and the major interstates, so there you see the motion from west to east. i don't think that is going to be dying down because our temperatures are just so warm outside. we're near 80 degrees in spots even in philadelphia. so with the motion of this particular cluster of storms, newark would be seeing it by 5:48. philadelphia 6:20, cherry hill 6:30. we expect that to hold together and move through. that is one thing we'll be tracking agency we go through the afternoon and into the evenings. but the storms are not going to last all night. as you saw it's not widespread. 80 degrees almost in philade
