laura podesta in new york. thank you. >>> a new round of snowy weather could hit the midwest this week. meteorologist amber lee of kcbs has more on that and another storm system in the west. >> the start of december is bringing wintry weather from the midwest all the way to the northeast. we have a slow-moving low-pressure system bringing rain, snow, and ice to the region. and with this low-pressure system, it's going to rain to philadelphia, new york, and also boston. later this afternoon, that rain will change over to snow, and then we're looking at possibly more than a foot of snow for upstate new york and into portions of new england. this low-pressure system will linger into tuesday, bringing wrap-around moisture. that means scattered snow showers, gusty winds, and also a lot of cold air. then by tuesday night, the system will start to push off the coast, and then we're looking at more snowy conditions for the midwest. this is the very same system that brought all of that snow and wet weather over to south
