they spent the majority of the day here at the milpitas police station recovering and they are still inside there right now. police say this day could have gone much differently if not for a heroic bus driver. police got a call around 10:30 a.m. about a missing 3-year-old boy at the milpitas library. police say someone at the library saw a man who was wearing a hoodie leaving the library with the child. according to milpitas police, a breakthrough came when a valley transportation authority bus driver gave them a call. the bus driver said he believed the suspect and child were on his bus headed to the fremont bart station. fremont police got there first and waited for the bus to stop. police said the child was in the suspect's arms as he got off the bus. and after a brief struggle, the man was arrested and the child recovered. >> the bus driver is a hero absolute hero. and i credit the valley transit authority for receiving the information from us quickly disseminating that to their bus drivers in the field. >> reporter: police say the 23- year-old pittsburg resident alfonso eddington
