we'll be on the lookout for something popping up into the evening as well but in general it doesn't look bad. up in allentown this afternoon, 82 degrees, clouds and sun. we're allowing for a spotty storm but even up in the lehigh valley i don't think you see very much of that today. down the shore mainly dry conditions. of course if you hear thunder get avenue the beach but chances appear to be pretty low for that. sun and clouds 78 degrees by noon and 83 degrees by 3 o'clock on the beach. your ocean temperatures are up in the low to mid 70's so that's good. the bad thing about the ocean is that we still have bertha passing us by and that means we are getting a lot of on shore flow because of that storm off the coast and that's creating some large swells and of course rip currents form when you get all that water pushed up on the ocean and then it has to work its way back out to sea. it does that in a narrow channel. obviously you want to swim either bar left lane to the beach to the north or south to get out of that rip current today. sun and clouds then in philadelphia, a spotty thunde
