a teenager was hospitalized wednesday after she ate a popsicle coated with liquid lsd and before that on monday in watsonville man came under the influence of lsd assaulted two police officers and was arrested. last month a 15-year-old boy became violent on lsd tried to stab his father and ended up being shot and killed by police. police are encouraging parents to have conversations with their kids about drug use and look for signs of lsd activity. >>> turning now to palo alto where officials are seeing an increase of whooping cough also known as pertussis. the highly contagious disease has been confirmed in at least 17 students but as many as 44 suspected cases have been reported. sentence -- symptoms include shortness of breath and vomiting. health officials say the majority of confirmed whooping cough cases are middle and high school students have vaccinated but failed to get a booster shot. >>> san francisco is bracing for the repeal of obamacare. once donald trump takes office. minority leader nancy pelosi and other official meant in san francisco to prepare. pelosi will continue
