in portage, you know, we heard reports earlier today of long lin lines, traffic jams, a turnout that was on the levels of presidential. how important is this race? how feasible is it that a democrat would win here? because olsen has been there for 16 years and sometimes unopposed. >> can i just tell you something? in that district the last time a democrat won that district grover cleveland was president. >> that would be 115 years. >> that's a long time. >> that is a long time. all right. now, just calling it like it is before, i mean, if you were in vegas, you would say that there are two republicans out there tonight that are truly expected to win. in the 2nd district, covering the green bay area, robert cowles, who is leading nancy nusbaum. gilbert brown, former defensive tackle for the green bay packers, got into the fray on this one. he did some robo-calls for nancy nusbaum. and our condolences go out to nancy. she lost her mother on friday. and it has been obviously that event has tempered the intensity in the race. but that is one that cowles is expected to win. that's one the

i have never seen the level of grass roots energy that is going on in races like fred clark up in portage, over in milwaukee where sandy pasch is running. it makes me believe something remarkable could happen tomorrow. we are talking about six republican districts, districts drawn for republicans, they have elected republicans sometimes for generations. if we see these seats fall, one, two, three, four, five, six, if that happens, that will be american history. >> what evidence do you have other than tremendous crowd and enthusiasm, what evidence do you have that it will be a big turn out tomorrow? >> i did a 1,000 mile drive throughout the week. i have been through all the districts. i can tell you, in every one of the districts, the signs are up in every yard. the people are on the street. when you go to the coffee shops and cafes, this is what they are talking about. this is a statewide referendum on scott walker's agenda. it's a referendum that was forced by the people. it's unprecedented. there's no doubt, the turn out is going to be incredible. the challenge we are going to have, th

there had been a gift cards donated to the city to give to kids at christmas time to pass out to portage at christmas time and she was accused of using those gift cards that have been given to the city by the poor shall friend to buy christmas gifts for her own family. and so she bought genex box for her nephew and a couple other gifts like that. a hint here if you are doing that as you know gift cards are hard to trace, but what she apparently did according to the evidence is she went to best buy and had a rewards card from best buy that had her identification so she used her gift cards but wanted to get the rewards so at the same time she used the gift card she used her reword card and allow the prosecutor to track the gift cards back to her. so watch out from trying to get that last discount. [laughter] welcome after the jury deliberated and reach a verdict in the case, and she was found guilty of the counts and acquitted of three of them but found guilty of one of the counts, and that was a guilty verdict on any count meant she had to give up her job as the mayor of baltimore. as a j
