she is a founding member of the portola green and steering committee, whose mission is to promote portola's district identity by building a more green and sustainable future, she helped build the first garden in 2014. not only does the seed library teach kids about the history of the garden district identity, but it also teaches them about nutrition and food security and makes the library more of a community space. when she's not devoting her time to her adopted family in the portola library, and her own family, she advocates for her employees on the bargaining team, believing that happy employees are valuable employees. from all of us in district 9 and especially the portola community, congratulations for being by far the coolest librarian in town. we love you. certainly up to santa rosa but some of that coming up from the santa clara valley made it right over portolaalley . santa rosa had quite the sunday afternoon show. this is getting pushed south a lot more stable pattern. we have a system coming in from the north, not a very strong system but it is a cold one. mainly 40s, pittsburgh is 56, decent breeze in the hills, west southwest or northwest direction that's the system to the north we are watching coming in . there is not a lot of rain with it but there is a lot of cold air . let's get to work into our area tuesday and wednesday . not a big rain producer but i will have to keep an eye on it as we head toward wednesday for possible thunderstorms . this time of year the days are longer . bill stay below average for thursday and make it warmer and dry coming up . >>> just a reminder make sure you download the app it has interactive radar, hourly update on the 7-day forecast and a really easy way to upload your weather photos and videos. the weather app is free to download for your smart phone . >>> the federal government stepping in to help st

that's about it but we've got more rain bands that are moving it to redwood city right now in woodside portolaalley you're seeing that and then across the bay, but also that rain will be on it. either way into san ramon you can see just a little peek speck that is mount diablo they're getting a little dusty of some sleet and some snow up there right now again this is a very cold storm system moving in they're not the only ones we've got more scattered showers popping up a little for the north but more widely scattered in parts of the north bay was you make your way a little further to the south as you head on up to this low, you got more rain in the san francisco and more showers likely to continue right through the evening hours as it looks like we'll see those showers continuing into san francisco and around the bay area but the rain will taper off overnight tonight we're not done with the rain by any means we'll let you know how long we expected to stick around and when we might see another storm coming our way now more coming up in a few minutes just the next. >>thank you so much lawrence,
