there you can see over portola valley, we had a little bit of light shower activity. as we get you in closer, you can see some of this is starting to now make it into the south bay. the lower atmosphere is still a little bit dry so much of this is not touching the ground. we could see a little bit of this hold up into sunnyvale to produce a light shower. be careful on the roadways because we will keep this slight chance of some spotty showers. it's all from this cold, wide-reaching storm dropping down across. the primary thing we're dealing with is those colder temperatures. a slight chance of a spotty shower as we move through tonight, primarily for the south bay and the peninsula, and then you'll see as we move through tomorrow morning, we'll hold on to just a little bit of a chance here off towards our east as well. so it's not the big rainmaker we need, but at least our temperatures are starting to head into the right direction. so as we bring you into our sierra snow forecast, that's really where the storm system is going to hit hard. look at this. seven to eight
