they were more in portola for improving the access to the farmer's market and desire and emphasis onighting and safety especially under some of the freeway crossings on san bruno corridor and access and improvements to the maclaren park to the west. in the west valley the projects that came to the top were safety improvements on san bruno avenue down the boulevard to connect the bike network and along that section the south streetscape which will show a concept of the design and connect the valley greenway which is a greenway that goes up 6-7 blocks up to the hillside but no dedicated crossing to connect this piece of the greenway. we are finding way to connect them to a one single linear park and improvements for transit access around the sunny dale development as that site develops. we developed a specific concept for this street and find that is a very competitive plan. we worked with the community and understand they want to activate this medium specifically and want to be able to access it safely and have opportunities for walking and public heart. we came up with a few differen

spruced up the pumpkin stairs guard extent picked up lit intermissions, burn heights and portola. the rain kept our volunteers home. but drew a few dozen folks who dawned the panchos and braved the soggy weather than i had energy and great work got diagonal volunteers of all ages showed up including high schoolers. tz freezing they got to work and warmed up. big thanks to the many public works employee who is came out on their day off to pitch. in community partnerships mean a lot to us. the volunteer events are staffed by community engagement team and urban forest and street and environmental service. next month on march 11 will be the bandwidth beautification day events of the year we celebrate arbor day we will plant more thon 100 fleece south of market. giving tours of the street tree nursery and have a fair for kids. bikt roadways, information group and focus on environment at sustainability. we expect to be joined by the mayor. senator wean and supervisor dorsey. this is an annual event we did have to put on pandemic pause. we are excited to be starting back up. of both volu

look in the distance, it's a little hard to see now because the fog has rolled in, but over there is portola valley and right in that area. we're hearing that. there is some snow up through those hills over there. we did see a light dusting over there a little earlier before that fog rolled in, and we're hoping to head on over there in a little bit. meanwhile, let's show you some video of what conditions were like in san francisco this morning and around the bay. earlier this morning, we hiked up to the top of mount davidson , the highest peak in san francisco, searching for snow, and we can tell you that the weather up there very beautiful , very cold, but not quite cold enough. as of six this morning, no snow or hail there now we have had this week is plenty of wild weather the wind already being blamed for damage around the bay area, specifically a lot of fallen trees around the bay area. high winds knocked down i wanted to 50 ft tree into a south san francisco home, taking out of power pole and a line on its way down. that incident knocked out power to more than 130 homes. the same story
