as we were driving to portsmouth yesterday during the day, coming from tier 2 in south devon, we we reon board and get off in france, so we sat around for a couple of hours, and then about 1030, the lorries started going on the ferry, and we were all getting on the ferry, so we thought, this is amazing, we are actually going to get to go. but sadly, we got to our cabin and then the announcement came at, no, we are not sailing anywhere. you will have to stay in your cabins, stay on board overnight, and then get off this morning. so this morning, we all disembarked at about 7.00. and then you go now? are you trying to move to france? —— where do you go now? yes, we are moving to france, so we have entered our house out. i have my two daughters in the back. we are not really sure what we are going to do, actually. we have had a couple of offers from france to go and stay with them. we might find a hotel. there are lots of people in our situation. i met one lady on the ferry who had literally sold up everything, take redundancy from herjob, she was off to france, she said that if you can't

i have been visiting portsmouth on the south coast, another place moving into tear three today, to speakch must be cancelled. we were fully booked up until the 28th of december and throughout every single session, so we are going to have to let down quite a few people throughout now. we are losing between 15 and £20,000 profit alone next week based on the bookings that we had. just down the road, this hotel is also had its festive hopes dashed. it was due to welcome more than 160 diners for christmas day, many of them guests. cancellations are another blow to end a tough year. we've got a good ten to £12,000 worth of stock which is just sitting there that we have got to work out what to do with. there are obviously things that we can freeze and there is a lot that we can't freeze, so we are going to be having a meeting today to try and work out what we can do with that. maybe we're going to try and do some takeaway stuff so that we can get rid of stock that way. we're doing some promotions today on our last day, half price cocktails, you know? to say that we can try and get it down as mu
