now, they'll be flying above the potomac river. they'll come by the world war ii memorial and then going down along the national mall. now, many of the planes are staging, gathering at the manassas airport. you can see in this video some of the planes that are going involved in this flyover. it's all to commemorate the 70th anniversary of victory in europe day. dozens of world war ii era aircraft are going to be flying in historically sequenced formations. those formations represent major battles including pearl harbor and the final air assault on japan, it's going to end with a missing man formation to taps. now, the flights -- now, because of this flyover, flights at reagan national airport are going to be suspended they'll come to a halt. so from 12:10 to 1:00 in the afternoon. we are expecting crowds and perhaps a slowdown of traffic as people stop and look up to the sky as this historic flyover is going by here later on this afternoon. i'm going to have more on the planes involved a little bit later in the show. back to you gu

. >> reporter: potomac avenue metro station we learned coleman, a former reality show star was arrested and charged with making 11 threats against metro over the last six months. he faces serious charges. threats began last december where stone coleman threatened to blow up a station, ambush a motorcade and blow up a police officer. >> we were able to match his voice through voice analysis. we were able to track his locations when the threats were made through cell phone data. >> reporter: in another of the 11 threats he said there was a bomb near the white house. he made several threats involving metro buses. >> while he was on a bus he made a threat and said that another patron on board the bus was the person making the threat. he identified that person. >> reporter: stone coleman appeared at kit cole on cat fish, which documents people who pretend to be someone they are not giving false information. agencies are looking to additional charges for threats that could be traced to stone coleman. >> we have a link to the cat fish episode he was featured in. you can find it on our wusa 9 a

this is what it looked like inside the cockpit as a pilot breaks from his flight path over the potomac. seconds earlier, he was in perfect formation coming up the river with 55 othe planes to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the victory in europe. >> here we go, fellas. >> the kennedy center is on the left, but just as he crosses the key bridge, smoke starts filling the cockpit. the pilot says his adrenaline was pumping and the next 45 seconds felt more like 10 minutes. he veers toward virginia over the 14th street bridge and immediately first responders start scrambleing on the ground. >> it was impossible fire. >> he smelled the smoke and felt the heat from the hydraulic fluid, but somehow he manages to set down at reagan national airport. >> incoming. >> confirm lady 3 on. >> lady 3 is safe on deck. >> the pilot was worried about his passenger. >> get out, get out, get out. >> but they were both okay. turns out it was just leaking hydraulic fluid not an actual electrical fire. but that didn't make it any less scary. the pilot came away with an even bigger appreciation for the pilot
