numbers gathered on that runway just across from where we are for a memorial service along the potomac riverthat service lasted about an hour per ntsb over the past several days has been meeting with them as they come into town and try to answer as many questions as they can about the mid air collision. we did learn a lot of new info pry the most illuminating press comments ntsb is held to date yesterday evening. the ntsb tells us five air traffic controllers working at the time of the crash. only one of those controllers was communicating with planes in the air as well as helicopters in the air of the time of the crash. we have had the black boxes from the blackhawk helicopter the two black boxes from the american plane. the black box from the plane which is the most accurate measure of altitude shows a plane was around 325 feet in the air at that moment of impact. but, preliminary data indicates the control tower saw the helicopter around the same time was at about 200 feet. ntsb has yet to explain that discrepancy. they say they are also looking into it. we also know the american plane pu

fuselage of the american airlines plane that collided with an army black hawk helicopter over the potomac riverear washington, d.c. families of the victims visited the crash site yesterday. all 64 people on the plane and three soldiers on the chopper were killed. the remains of 55 people have been recovered and identified so far. and the investigation into the cause of the collision continues amid concerns the helicopter may have been flying too low. the chopper's black box which contains key data has been recovered. over the weekend the army identified the third soldier killed on the chopper. captain rebecca lobach. she'd served as an army aviation officer since 2019 and just last month escorted fashion designer ralph lauren at the white house when he was awarded the presidential medal of freedom. two other soldiers, staff the next face of the hostage meeting. president trump will meet with benjamin netanyahu tomorrow. the two will talk about victory over hamas, dealing with iran's terror acts. we're learning about the conditions in activity after the release of three hostages over the weekend

this video shows the helicopter flying at rapid speed over the potomac river, as the american airlines flight is seen flying, of course, toward the airport. then that collision happens. and then in another surveillance video that was shot from the airport grounds, it shows the plane's descent as the blackhawk continues to fly over the river, and they continue to fly toward one another, but at a low altitude. tell me what your critical eye is seeing. >> well. >> the biggest thing is they should have seen each other, right? or at least. well, let me clarify. the blackhawk should have seen the jet, so. which makes me wonder, because they had already thought they were deconflicted, that they had that mean. so air traffic control, when they asked, do you have visual on the crash? previously? and they told them to go behind? i still think they were looking at the other aircraft, the one that had just taken off. >> so the de-conflicted, meaning they may have said they saw a plane, but not the specific one, obviously, that they collided with. how about the flight paths themselves? i mean, the
