hopefully we can get back to you as i said this summer and we would resume the other neighborhoods of potrero hills. we won't do them all at once so that's kind of a little bit of an update on the north east mission parking plan a few other items of note the -- machines for the central subway are arriving the first one is actually here and is currently be a assembled it's a 750 ton 350 foot long machine it will take 4 to 6 weeks to assemble and we're currently scheduled for a launch in early june the second launch would be late august early september so pretty significant milestones and physically impressive work that's happening in this next phase of the project. other good news -- the 62 harbor diesel electric buses that you all approved last year have gun begun to arrive. and also training we're training our operators and mechanics on

the california college of the arts has been an institution in potrero hill for decades and they offer 33 graduate and under grad programs for nearly 2,000 students. the college has received recognition for the programs and architecture, design and photographer and painting and more. the college was looking to expand in san francisco. they purchased additional lots adjacent to their current campus and while the college participated extensively in the eastern neighborhood planning process the resulting 20,000 square foot size limitation on post secondary educational institution does not allow them to expand under the existing code. an effort to support the college's effort to expand and stay in san francisco we have worked with the college and planning staff on the special use district. in conjunction with this the college prepared a master plan which was accepted by the planning commission and it would remove the size limitations on secondary educational institutions and with parcels that they own. it includes using them for temporary uses and annual fashion show and graduations. with

the bayview, western addition, the mission, excelsior, potrero hill area, that they deal in a lot of stress and trauma every day. so, we have a need for that. the multi-cultural youth leadership one. the other one is more work force opportunity, employment opportunity for high-risk api youth. so far the city, we were able to be very fortunate to have the funding for a program called a generating leadership opportunity work force. however, at this round of funding we don't get to fund that. it directly shows from the department youth and families, there's no need employment programs for the api population in the city of san francisco. especially target high-risk youth, many youth from the ages 14 to 21 involved in the criminal justice system who have a lot of charges. and the other one i want to encourage some support in is that we need to have a courageous conversation, you know. starting with ourselves about racial dialogues in the community. >> thank you, mr. chang. now we have linda merly to speak on student services. >> good morning, supervisors. my name is april. i'm presenting
