for those years i have gladly and proudly worked with the residents potrero hill at the health center. i have never lived in the community, i've always felt a part of this community. i supported patience in navigating the often times challenging health care system and i supported youth in navigating educational opportunities for their future. in my many ways i have been a dedicated contributor and advocate for marginalized public housing community. march 15 of this year i was summoned to our office and told that i was going to be removed from the potrero hill clinic and told it was reorganization and my special skillset. after met and conferred with my union, i later learned that i was told i was being removed from it because of intimidation and fear. i received no due process, no investigation, when they did have an investigation, it was a bias investigation. and i also want to note that when i left the clinic prior to this receiving these anonymous letters, i had a stellar performance appraisal. no mention intimidation and bias. i was never treated fairly by the department of public

my name is peter and i have been part of the potrero hill archive project for about 30 years. ilding our future does not have to mean throwing away our past. the historic brick buildings on the potrero power station site have extraordinary national significance. offering a connection to the explosion of industry on potrero pointe starting in the 18 sixties. and until 1913, the most important powerplant on the west coast. also the 99 years on this site. irish hill to the north and the rebuilding of san francisco following 19 -- 1906. these buildings are part of the only historic district in san francisco which combines industrial and residential communities and they give context to the remaining sugar warehouses across the street. the proposed project would demolish or brick buildings, extending the historic period to include unit 3 and the stock. i really challenge anyone to make the case that the 19 sixties were anywhere as significant as the earlier. on this site. saving the 60 structures is fine , but only if priority is given to the cluster of more significant brick buildin

south of the travis air force base fence line, and it quickly came across route 12 up over the potrero hills and now down to grizzly island. at some point in the day.. evacuation orders were given to more than 200 people on the island but that was lifted after the fire chief later determined a shelter in place was a better approach.aubin cofield/resident, suisun city oh my gosh, i thought the whole field was on fire. it was just a whole, like almost a whole block of smoke in the air. really dark smoke. it was really a frightening sight and i'm so glad that our city was on top of everything. and i could see the airplanes putting out the retardant to put the fire out. officials say.. all hands were on deck.. with firefighters from across the region including west sacramento, lake county and sonoma county came in to fight the flames from all angles.don ryan/emergency services manager, solano county sheriff's officeit all worked very well and the mututal aid was stupendous. and we got folks here as quickly as possible. so it was a very busy day in solano county and mutual aid came to our rescue

the city's tall building initiative, i thought it appropriate to recognize the work of 38 year potrero hill resident dr. jack boatright. he served as a geologist with the united states geological service for 38 years and serves as its program coordinator here in northern california. he graduated from stanford in 1975 with a b.a. in physics and a masters in geophysics, and then from columbia in 1980 with a doctorate . he worked to glean a better understanding of what happened during earthquakes of the past, including extensive analysis of ground shaking intense sit from the 1868 magnitude 6.8 fault quake in the east way, and the 1970 quake here on the san andreas fault. he added his own field work, fascinating field work, investigating percentages of toppled tombstones in cemeteries in alameda, marin, mendocino, and contra costa county. he formed productive partnerships with scientists, engineers, and public officials, including here at the city and county of san francisco like brian strong at the local, state, and national levels. dr. boatwright was an active member of our caps program, the

public housing in the district, who's lived in public housing in bayview-hunters point, as well as potrero hill and someone who's also held leadership in the district. as a director of the potrero family resource center and currently e.d. as one of the biggest nonprofits in san francisco. i know the issues that our residents share and the concerns that we have in our communities. i'm raising children in the district, sending my children to public schools and making sure i improve this district. we're going to continue to fight for affordable. i've already built 59 units of all affordable housing as well as 156 on the way ad can't will stick point. we need somebody that's going to make sure that the cleanup at the shipyard happens, and that not only do they test and find everything, but we bring in someone that doesn't have a conflict of the city or the conflict of government agencies that have already been in place because our community has lost a lot of trust. i want to make sure that our transportation is improved, that we improve our schools, and that we make sure that we continue to provide
