we hit 95 up toward poughkeepsie and newark liberty. it was great beach day. temperature at 90. in the 80 in a islip and montauk and bridgeport topped out at 88. it is still pretty warm across the region. in the 80's right now as well as newark at 75. we have the same number toward islip. we are expecting a mild and muggy evening across the region. these numbers are unaring about 5 to 10 warmer than they were that time last night and the dewpoints have come up, too. they are mostly in the 6's which is uncomfortable range for the area and going continue to to feel uncomfortable. drier air will be heading to the region by the end of the week. meantime, high pressure in control sliding to the east allowing the southwest wind flow to come in on the back side of that. that kind of wind flow brings in a lot of heat and a lot of humidity. that's he case across the region for today, tomorrow, looks like also for wednesday. so tomorrow, plan far hot one. we have sunshine. that is going to help warm up temperatures to around 90 in most locations. steve, allison, over to. >> thank you, aud
