and we are just hearing word that the powel st. bart station is also closed. protesters have gathered here to protest a number of issues that they have with bart. we are looking into the logistics' in all this, grant. >> i want to use this board to give you the logistics of the problem. now there are at least to bart stations that are affected, we will get to this in a minute, but as we zoom into the civic center this is where it all started this is where the protesters said they would be right here in the civic center station remember earlier this summer, really upset about the police officer, the bart police officer involved in the shooting, it has gotten worse as the summer has progressed with this cellphone stuff. we have these three parts stations, here is a civic center, and this is the powell street. both are now closed. civic center has been closed for about 40 minutes, the powell street is closed just one minute. and we hear from the crew that it may be heading down here to be 16th and mission station. these are major issues that people are working on

the civic center is closed, powell street is closed. i am being told that a number of arrests have been made. this is something that will likely come to an end in the next 15-20 minutes. it has lasted longer than many other protests in past weeks. i do have the different earlier on in the evening. you can see down at the platform on the civic center, one of the reasons why it was closed and has remained close, police have said if people go on to the platform to protest it is not a scenario and that was the reason why they cleared this civic center area. at last check we have at least 10 people were arrested. as i said before, rest are being made as we speak. protesters are not where i'm standing, but three blocks from where i am standing arrests are being made. it is important of the meeting is being held by bart's on wednesday, it is open to public opinion, people to voice their opinion on how they feel specifically about the cellphone issue when the cellphone towers were turned off inside for different onboard stations. the civic cent
