the move comes just one day after bart board of directors was in the city for a meeting at the powelltation. it was a chance for the directors to see the issues facing the system and writers firsthand. joining me now is bart bevan, board director. what did you think yesterday of the conditions when you toured the powell street station ? >> they are very much what i expected. this is a station that is used by thousands of people that are working in the area. people working in tourism and convention and hotel industry. we are remodeling the station. we are planning to have a bathroom. we will have more accessible space, making it more attractive. may also have some real problems. when the city passedÃvoters passed sit and lie in 2010, it was determined that sit and lie did not apply belowground in the station. many people moved into those areas. and have stayed. bart , in partnership with the city is taking a number of steps to try to help people. and also make the situation much better for writers. >> bevan, can you talk about those steps ? >> we have never had the seven cisco homeless
