on this project and have been working for the past year and a half and i have prepared a short powerpoint presentation if that could be brought up on to the screen. and the project, which we were specifically on the construction aspects of the project and the architect you aral engineering handled by the tgpa but our program, specifically deals with three different certification types and the department of transportation which is the disadvantaged business enterprise and the minority woman owned businesses and we also accept the small business certification for the department on the general services on the state level and the thresholds for that is that the businesses were located in the state of california that make 14 billion or less a year, also accept the san francisco local business enterprise certification and so the three of those make-up what our program all about. san francisco and the state of california has done a great job as far as out reach to the small business community and so what we try to do on our project here is to make sure that every event and out reach and communic

and i wanted to also var clearly indicate it was interesting when putting together this powerpoint, i don't typically like to put any words on the images on the slides because i like the images in that way to speak for themselves, i feel like your eye competes between the words and images but i felt that it was important to differentiate between what is in our current exhibition and our permanent collection. so this is in the temporary exhibition as well. and then i wanted to let the paintings and the temporary exhibition and our permanent collection speak to each other and i started going through the permanent collection thinking about all of the ways that the clouds are represented in paintings starting with this early 16th century paintings by an artist nameds chima and i liked the way that the cloud offers like an extension of his halo and then you have this dramatic painting where the clouds are parting and it is like he is parting the red sea in the sky in this dramatic and emotional way that the clouds are not just offering but a part of the action and a part of the drama. and

i want to go back if you can review the powerpoint where you saw the analysis that brick may have aesthetics benefits but it's not that safe because of it's slickness, it's ability to chip and therefore have a different level of surfaces. the advocacy request is that folks, you really have to pay attention when there are hearings, when there are decisions. there is a strong advocacy interest in brick sidewalks that originally were put in san francisco in the 70s, allegedly supposedly for some reason as a reflection of san francisco's historic character. my comment then and since, if they want that historic character, why don't they put in wood board sidewalks. the point is they are picking some aspect of history, but they have to now think there is an ada aspect to design and construction that was not present in the 70s. they have to think about the safety of all and not just the aesthetic interest of some we will have to fight because there is an historic preservation in this city and agencies for that. until you also get out there to speak our need, we can possibly wind up with having bric

it's not often that you create a powerpoint by the committee and it comes out a very high quality product. a couple questions about the kaiser negotiations, it maybe in front of me and i don't understand the jargon. i know it talks about the capping at 4 percent. i'm sure it was for the funding models for 2015. i'm sure we are talking about not capping the profits this time around. limiting the icm and other medical services charges. i hear there is not a lot of progress made on that and i heard there was a goal of trying to limit the fees of 10 percent, are we on track for that or do you think it will be higher. with the accountability and transparency piece, is that, is part of the negotiations to get kaiser to report on the frequency on things like infections, unplanned hospital readmissions? and on the performance guarantees are they tied to rewards and penalties if the provider doesn't meet those performance guarantees, if there is a penalty attach or incentives for doing a great job on that. i apologize, it's probably clearly in front of me, i just don't understand the report. >> th
