one of the largest commemorations for memorial day taking place right now behind me here at the presidio. the 151st memorial day commemoration event. you see taking place right here. always a large gathering as folks are honoring the fallen veterans who sacrificed so much for this country of ours. that is what's under way right now here at the national cemetery. and not too long ago we were over there at pershing square where that flag-raising ceremony was taking place. a number of veterans in attendance for that emotional ceremony. we spoke to some of those veterans. but this was followed by a parade into the national cemetery, where we were standing. that was led by veterans, the color guard and other dignitaries in attendance for this event. now, i did get a chance to speak to some veterans before all of this started who reminded us about what this memorial day is really all about. >> it's very important instead of just taking a free drop day and doing what we want to we spend at least some of the precious time that the fallen have bought us. >> being here today surrounded by other ve
