the presidio wall courts, with expanded hours of play, were never intended to be permanent. there was a massive influx of people and, frankly, not the infrastructure to support it. >> from parking to garbage cans to noise complaints from the neighbors parking complaints from the neighbors, public urination in driveways. there are a lot of challenges. we basically over burdened this small neighborhood park. >> it is a perfect pickleball hub for the entire north side of the city, and it would be devastating. devastating if courts were removed because of a few neighbor complaints. >> in a hearing thursday, pickleball players cried foul, saying they're willing to work out any issues with neighbors. >> and i think we do. we need to be respectful of neighbors. they are. it is noisy at times. there is no doubt about that. but why aren't we exploring these options for mitigating before summarily shutting those courts down? simply doesn't make any sense. >> the players say the site has brought together a community, and those players are frustrated with the city when it comes to plans
