some provide it themselves.when you look at the kaiser model, they may want to own that level of care. and cpmc would want to do the same as a way to control their costs and have the facilities. i do think that there is a potential having some additional subacute beds and then we have to work at -- because everybody is going to need those. we may have some other possibilities as we continue to do this work. i would say that i would like to see cpmc continue their responsibilities towards the subacute role and we'd like to help by ensuring that maybe they could do that with st. mary's as an example in the future. it's still not happened, but i'd like to ensure that we have subacute beds in the city. but again from a financial model, you have to remember that each of these entities are very different in their business plans. and it's our job both as a health department and supervisors to encourage cajole, provide what you're doing to all the health systems to ensure there are levels of care pa available for people

the nfip provides important relief. millions of americans rely on this program to provide coverage when disaster strikes. the nearly 50-year-old nfip program, however, is in desperate need of reform. today's legislation will not only re-authorize the program for five years, it will take steps to better align premium rates to risk, improve fema's mapping and appeals process, and begin to correct the way the nfip manages what are known as repetitive loss properties. most importantly, h.r. 2874 lays the groundwork for a private flood insurance marketplace to take hold. which will improve the fiscal stability and solvency of the nfip for future generations to come. this bill is a good start. but these reforms must continue to be built upon in the years ahead. i'm thankful for the hard work of chairman hensarling and housing and insurance subcommittee chairman duffy, and the entire staff for working to get this bill to the floor today. as many continue to rebuild their lives following the devastation of harvey, irma, sandy a

september 26th, 2017; you know, provide, you know, type of cannabis business, but they'll have to provide an affidavit or clargs made under penalty of perjury by the owner certifying that the preexisting nonconforming operator will not engage in commercial cannabis activities. so there wasn't the will or the band width to allow nonconforming businesses to continue to operate, so that is that, but it allows these businesses to come and register, so once they do that, they will be able to get their permit in 2018. also, there is a process for existing mcd's that have their article 33 permit, a direct pathway to turning over into article 16, retailers, they will not have to apply for the temporary permit as was in the original legislation, so it reduces one additional step that in ishlitially that they going to have to go through. much discussion at the board of supervisors that these businesses, they have their permits, they've been inspected, they're already gone through conditional use, so... so that process has been stream lined and improved for the existing mcd's, and then creating a pa
