his wife had served in the air force in the intel capacity and was suffering from pre-significant ptsd. because he had not had a paycheck, he couldn't pay the 90-dollarr copayment for his wie to continue to see her psychiatrist and continue to pay for her drug treatments. .. somebody who is working overtime without pay to keep our air safe. there, this shouldn't be. this shouldn't be. same time, a few days earlier we met with other workers, a young father who we met who works for the he department of justice, was unable to get his daughter -- brought his daughter to is session because when his daughter was born, he wanted to make sure he could get his daughter on this federal insurance plan. that's his right. but the person who was supposed to submit the form to the insurance company had been furloughed. went to the doctor, and is infant daughter had an illness and had to get prescription. he didn't have the money to pay for the prescription, and his daughter wasn't registered on his insurance company, not because of anything he fault he had made. he one able to pay for the insurance.

was it a case of what we might call ptsd? i don't know, i don't want to say that. he is not the same. some of this started many years prior. a young man setting out leaving that military and being in battle and being in war was one thing, romantic, easy, clean, but it never was in the civil war brought this calm to him and he just could not move past pickett's charge. he wrote a report, nobody has seen it except long street, he wrote a report and apparently it and negative and i believe he called people out that lee said to him you have to destroy this, we have an enemy to fight. can be fighting amongst ourselves because he is his fellow confederates and he never did file a second report. that's the famous lost report of gettysburg. long street says he saw it ended was bad and he said the reason why he didn't get in trouble and pickett did was because long longstreet said i gave my critique verbally, i did not put it in writing. shattered so he will for a time be given departmental command which is the worst possible thing. it is giving bureaucratic responsibility.
