before this virus hit and now that it's going on, we still need public outreach for these tenants. tenants often don't get basic information that they need unless outreach comes to them. it is important for us and many of our partner groups to focus on high risk of displacement. it is also important in these times to continue tenant rights counseling as tenants often given correct information. landlords sometimes trick them. sometimes even landlords lawyers tell tenants they have to leave, write them letters in languages they don't understand, or with hope s.f. properties or others, repairs not made, no matter how many tenants ask for them over and over, and basic calculations over what rent is owed in the past or in the present is often badly calculated, and tenants need help navigating that system. we are part of a network of tenants rights groups that do this kind of important outreach and counseling. we really want to make sure that these services continue. we can't even begin to get to mat joert of tenants who need these services. -- majority of tenants who need these services

we did extensive public outreach in advance the environment in response, we requested that the environment review process consider full range of trail operations options and in this case the full range starts from supervised access where people are accompanied by volunteers that work with my staff and the far side of the spectrum is unsupervised access. in the middle restricted access which is a permit program which is similar to what is in the east day. it's important to recognize and the ridge trail on our our watershed center and the water zendaya and we're building a physical facility in the east bay and we developed a trail that will be new signage that is part of this along the trail and also foss our programs. the program is our opportunity to tell the story of why we own this land and how it's managed and it's history, and how we protect the rare plants and animals we call home. next slide, please. the project was proposed almost 20 years ago and covered when it was the peninsula water. >> connor: plan report and certified by this commission in 2001 and now, here at the draft ier s

i operate primarily as an advocate and outreach organizer primarily in public housing in specific. i wanted to open up with saying that currently right now, this is from our partners, that 30% of all evictions are with black tenants. so this is still something that's a massive displacement problem. for that many evictions to be filed against black tenants in san francisco has created a problem. i also wanted to highlight ov overcrowding in public housing which you have three generations of people that are living this one unit and so that's also another problem. i think that supporting this right here, which h.r.c. is clearly in support of this and giving thanks to the supervisors, our support of this to get rid of the pattern blackiblac blocking people of color and to create affordable housing is really needed. i think this is another step in san francisco to do good and correcting the wrongs in the past and reversing racist policies. much love on that. thank you once again and i yield my time to anyone else who wants to take it. bye. >> thank you, can we have the next caller pleas
