so, it's goodbye from me and the birds at pulborough. highlights of our previous programmes, go to bbc.co.uk/weatherworld, and watch out for more weather world later in the year. and, for now, keep checking the forecast. hello there. it feels like our weather has gone a bit weird, what with the 21 celsius we had in february, and now snow in may. yeah, that's what we've seen over the last 24 that's what we've seen over the last 2a hours. some wintry showers in scotland, snow settling on some of the northern hills. you see those wintry showers feeding in behind this line of rain which is a cold front heading south across england and wales. don't be surprised over the next few hours if we see some of that rain get a bit heavier and perhaps turn to snow over the hills of wales, even. wintry showers continue to feed and further north in scotland with further snow to be spotted here. it is the brisk winds which will prevent a frost from falling for most of us, but where those winds fall in the countryside, the odd patch of frost as possible. a

so, it's goodbye from me and the birds at pulborough.vious programmes, go to bbc.co.uk/weatherworld, and watch out for more weather world later in the year. and, for now, keep checking the forecast. hi there, good morning. it's going to be another cool day. in fact, it could be the coolest early may bank holiday in the records, since it first started in 1978. we have a cold front moving south and that is giving us some showery outbreaks of rain this morning across northern areas of england and southern scotland. it's going to spread south pushing into the midlands and towards east anglia, some brighter skies and sunshine across the south and wales before the cloud tends to increase here. sunny spells developing in northern ireland and throughout much of scotland with wintry showers in the far north. with that northerly wind, it's still going to feel pretty chilly out there. temperatures about 7—9 celsius in the north—east. elsewhere, about 10—13 celsius. but if you're in the sunshine, if you're in the shelter, so it will feel not too bad
